Flymph - Hen Pheasant

I’m not sure if I’m entirely happy with this one.

Tied on a Mustad R50U-94842. Dyed brown hare’s poll spun on a Clark block with Pearsall's Gossamer Primrose silk. Tail and hackle are Hen Pheasant.

Flymph - Light Fox / Hare’s Cheek

Flymph tied on a Mustad R50U-94842 up-eye hook size 12. Light Fox and Hare’s Cheek spun on a Clark Block in orange silk with ginger hen hackle.

Itching to tie Flymphs again

It has been many years since I sat down and tied flymphs or soft hackles, but I have had the inspiration to do it again. After seeing Carl Sanders' setup at Sowbug and then posting about my good friend, Bill Shuck, I'm back to it. Hopefully I can start posting some flies soon, if I can get my photog...

Up eye hook?

It looks like Mustad has discontinued the R50U-94842.
So I'm wondering if there are any other up eye hooks out there I can use for flymphs?
