Idaho Nymph

Hook - Mustad 3906B or equivalent, size 10-12

Thread - Black

Tail - Black hackle fibers

Rib - Silver wire

Body - Black dubbing, uni yarn or marabou

Wing case – Peacock green flat tinsel

Thorax - Peacock herl

Beard - Black hackle fibers
Flytiers sure have a way at making things difficult

I want to try the marabou version.

Looks like an effective pattern.

Norm,
I am loving this pattern! I have always had tremendous success with a pattern similar to yours sans the peacock! I think I will incorporate it into future patterns because peacock is the ingredient that tips the balance!
