Inspired

I've been at home, not fishing, for some weeks now to say the least, and have been tying a lot. Mostly I've been tying Japanese style kebari in preparation for some Tenkara fishing this season. I have also been tying some caddis pupae patterns to use in a cross-current Tenkara manipulation technique. The discussion of Slattery's Triple Threat inspired me to tie up a few of those as well. I also tied up this fly using using the same basic design:
Hook - TMC 2488, #14
Body - Med. Chartreuse wire sparsely overdubbed with olive rabbit fur
Hackle - Grouse upper covert
Thorax - Mink/Pine Squirrel mix in a dubbing loop

What a remarkable pattern. Inspired and inspiring!

BTW - I am very interested in seeing your Tenkara flies too... ;)

Really nice. Should get down in the water column in short order.
