I'm with FG. I do miss fishing year round out west.

Good for you.
My waters are high and a cool 34.
The boat is stored for the winter and
I'm not stepping off the bank until the flows drop.
...and Happy New Year too.

Wayne,

Are you wade fishing or fishing from a boat?

Thanks- Ken

I am wade fishing. As cold as it has been getting, the flow ice only burns off the rivers for about 2 to3 hours on the warmest days. Not enough time to float.

I do not carry a thermometer, but I was told the water temps are 37 F.

Great photos Dubbn. Thank you for sharing a great start to this year!
I fish wet flies with faith and hope, faith that trout don't require exactitude and hope that when my time comes, God will explain why wet flies work...
