What a couple size 20 flies look like after 20+ fish. A Slim Shady, and, Red Buttcrack baetis (Buttrash)

A few 15 inch Bows to start the day. Then, alot of size 14 to 20 inch Browns.

:D

Do you recycle the hooks (strip the materials off and retire them), or keep them to remember the day? I have a couple battered flies on my desk that were “retired” after a fantastic day of fishing. They sit on top of my tying desk, as a fond memory stream side.

No, I throw them away when they are that beat up.

I retire some for a memory at times. But the best way to strip them on a great fly is let the fish chew them down until only a wisp of tying thread is attached and it is simple to rebuild! ;) :D
