
This is what you'll be needing.
Start by waxing the silk with your dark cobblers wax, make sure it's well waxed. Start your silk behind the eye make a small head. Leave a long tag. Take your silk back in line with the hook point.

Select a feather from the shoulder area of the bird, strip the fluff.


Tie In your feather the way you would with a hen feather, take the tag end and lay it on the inside curve of the feather.

Give her a twist and stroke the feathers back if you wish.

Wind it back to where your thread is and tie off, whip finish and you're done!
