thread - MFC 8/0 sand
tag/rib - Krystal Flash pearl
tail - partridge
abdomen - pheasant tail bleached
thorax - dubbing
hackle - partridge aftershaft
collar - partridge
mash barb, start thread, tie in KF and wrap back to point above point

wrap KF down the bend and back; tie off, leave the tag for ribbing

measure (gap width past bend) some partridge fibers; tie in/trim


tie in some pheasant tail fibers; wrap forward, tie off/trim


wrap rib forward; tie off/trim


dub thread/dub thorax


prep aftershaft

untwist/split thread, insert aftershaft, spin



moisten, stroke fibers back while wrapping; tie off



prep partridge feather; tie in by tip


wrap partridge; tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
