I agree, that's a beauty. I've been into tying some winged wets lately and for me they're some of the hardest flies to get right. I wonder if I'll ever be good at tying on wet fly wings? The proportions on your fly look excellent.

its all practice practice practice
i used 3 sets of wings to get this one right

I hear you. Every once in a while I get one just right the first try. lol Usually mine are too long, too short or cocked to one side. Yes, I've gone through 2 or 3 pairs of wings per fly.
