I've tied and fished a couple of these, Norm. Though not at nicely tied as yours, they did fool a couple of nice brook trout.

Reminds me of trolling Adirondack ponds with my Dad. “Ice-out” was always a joy fishing (cold - but fun cure for cabin fever).
I fondly remember Dad rowing the Colman canoe around the ponds, with me watching the rods…shore lunch of Oscar Mayer weeners roasted over a small wood fire, coffee and Freihofer's doughnuts. All pulled out of his pack basket. Thanks for the memories Norman.
