I don’t think my poor wife would have been happy to
discover that I had place a vole in the freezer tonight next
to the frozen fruit bars. No going to the fridge in the middle
of the night anymore!

No voles in the freezer, but as long as I label them bigly, my wife doesn't mind the occasional woodcock or woodchuck alongside her lamb chops. I've got a couple of ermine in there as well; although those tend to irritate her...

True story…I once had a coworker offer me a whole skunk. How could I resist…

Of course I said yes. His wife was not happy when she found a frozen skunk in their icebox….
We still laugh over this story.
