In Grantsville Doug gave me (tnxs Doug) a whole box of goodies and with it came a nice piece of wood to make a dubbingblock from it! I use mine mostly to make dubbingbrushes with copperwire thread in it, but I thought could it be possible to to make a double use of it: a normal clark
block and a reversed one.
here are the pictures of it:
Right is the threadsection and left the copperwire section
And now I turned it 180degrees and start with the copperwire
Final result:

Aren't you the clever one? That's very cool, Ruard.

Ruard - Excellent design! Do you mind if I copy your design ideas? I would like to take the block & pins Doug sent and do something similar with mine.
I have some additional photos showing you using your previous dubbng twister block. Would you mind if I post them here, to show you in action?

Awesome photos. I have a large
block, that I use for larger dubbing brushes...you can even use synthetics with it. I use small copper wire to twist it up. We use that for baitfish patterns. I haven't used it in ages though. I have been too busy tying these little flies.

Excellent idea
Ruard, I like the way you think.
