Blending dubbing is in my opinion a very nice piece of our hobby. I like it to start with a pelt of an animal (hare for example) prepare it with alcohol dry it and then it must be dyed. If that is ready you realy can blend the dubbing you want to. Possum is a great "binder" in the dubbing mix but hare also but is a bit softer when you use also the underfurr. If you start with a complete pelt there are so much different shade from white to tan to dark and some black too.

Ruard,

I havew tried to get a whole skin from hare without success. Bits and pieces , yes - but the only whole skin I have is a white arctic hare (it's all white during winter).
