I post my patterns in the nymph section. I can now see where JOANIEBO was coming from with his reference to a wire or thread underbody ‘showing through’. To me, in the UK, a flymph is a relative new expression used in the USA to refer to a hackled wet fly but with emphasis on hackle and body movement. I hadn’t taken into account the importance too of the underbody.
