Thought we should have an ongoing thread that serves the purpose of letting eachother know bout materials.....specials, good buys, deals, hard to find stuff, whatever. So i'll start it out. Today i found something (got it in every color they have) which some of you may be interested in. Goose shoulders by Wapsi. Any fly shop that deals with Wapsi can get 'em, and the price was like $1.80 a pair. Very nice quality, LOTS of colors, and you can't beat that price.
i don't work for Wapsi or get any kick back, although i know the whole fam damily, and see them often. TL, (Thomas Lareman, the oldest son), the heir apparent, was at our TU meeting tonight. He's our Conservation Committee Chairman.
Main reason i mentioned this was only becuse the price is so good and the quality much better than you'd expect at that price. Not to mention the dye jobs are great.
So anybody got a tip i can use?

Great idea Mark. Except we don't want to step on jimsflyco's toes. Speaking of that if you all are looking for some great hen necks Jim has some of the best. His dyed colors are outstanding.

ooppss..... never crossed my mind.....although who knows.....he just may be a Wapsi dealer.............with Wapsi, you cannot go directly to them to buy "ANYTHING." They ONLY sell to fly shops.....so Jim "may" fit right into that for all i know. Let's hope so. ...........btw Jim, if you see this.....those dates (Sept. 12th thru the 17th) i gave you for "Conclave" this year.....have been changed. It's now been reschedualled for Aug. 30th thru Sept. 3rd.
