No, this is not a story bout what sometimes may cross your mind...........LMAO. Just wanted to thank Jim again. One of the cool things i found in his shop when we were there.....was a hen Ringneck Pheasent skin.......apparently quite a few people had overlooked it. It was hanging down low on the wall, near to the floor in the shop. i just did the first fly using it.....and it's beautiful stuff. i reccommend you get ahold of Jim and see if he can get you one.....gorgeous feathers.

THANKX Jim.....

Thanks for the thousand words. How about a picture, boss?

go to ebay...........type in Pheasent skins..........you'll find a pic of a Ringneck hen.........they all look the same if they're in good shape........and Jim doesn't sell junk

..........this site limits the number of pics we can post.......each one is to precious to waste in such a way........sorry bout that........
i've tyed 40 (smallish/fishin') flies, and a few medium and one large artistic, just since i got home that are worthy of posting here............but, i'm easy to find.....

Come to Sowbug in March.......you'll have the time of your life.

posting limits? Just reread the regs and didn't see any mention of that. If there is a
hosting limit, one can always upload to
http://tinypic.com/ or elsewhere for free, fairly unlimited hosting.

Anyway, it's always nice to see pretty feathers deployed by skilled tiers . . . tiers from whom beginners and duffers like me can try to learn.

Don't mind Mark. He's 'set' in his ways.

My Sentiments Exactly (Bill Clairman.....quitarist/vocalist w/ the first band [Sarah] i ever went on the road w/ in 1970.....we were based in "The Valley" in L.A.).........was a great band........but they broke up after only one album. Didn't much like L.A. anyway..........
