Thanks Hans! The pheasant feather looks nice, and two turns of it, which is about all it allows (?), is just right. It appears to be as simple as starling to work with and blue hackle tips look good.

Nice!
Simple yet elegant. Lack of any ribbing does not detract in any way. I like it..... heck it is one I might even be able to handle tying.... if I had any Mole or hot orange dyed tippet! :lol:
Wonder if local rat blue/ gunmetal grey fur could sub for Mole? At least then I would have two of the ingedients, to give it a "local" twist Pukeko hackle in place of the pheasant...... funny thing being the pheasant is one material I have plenty of!
