Playing with wire dubbing brushes. Made on Clark's dubbing block with fine gold wire.

That is a fine looking brush body. I like the choice of materials and colours, it fairly glows.
I like the staple length of the dubbed fur, gives a nice expresion of life, without overpowering the wire. Should be a good heavier pattern for you.

Rodger, I'm glad that others are starting to experiment with this technique. Ruard is the one who finally got me to try it, but I haven't had much opportunity to test these flies. In theory they make sense if you want to get to the bottom faster. They seem to look convincing, but the trout need to let us know. Keep us posted on how they perform for you.
