Siphlorus Spider

Evening gents.
Made this for a friend who needed something neat for emerging Siphlorus, I came up with this.
Hook: Partridge SLD #14
Body: Pale Olive Squirell SLF
Rib: Stripped hacklestem Ginger
Hackle: Partrigde

Very nice work and it should work well for the intended purposes.
Stripped hackle stems are often overlooked as tying material and often consigned to the bin, nice use of it for the ribbing.

It's good to see you back on the forum. My apologies, if you have been back, I haven't noticed but then again I miss alot of things esp. if they are right in front of me! This pattern is amazing! The short, plump body intriques me! You have done it well and the ribbing is pretty cool too! I hope it works wll for your friend! Send pictures!
