Its hard to tell in the pics but ones a dark phase and the others light.

Tim,

This a beautiful fly and well done mister. On our Poldervlieg club we had an evening with Herman Broers and we have tied with him also a sparrow:

As I mentioned before, this is one of my all time favorite flies. Definitely in my "go to"category. Great work! :D

Thread; Uni 8/0 Gray
Tail: Light- Maribou Rump Feather from cock pheasant, Dark- Maribou Rump Feather from dark phase hen pheasant

Body: Light-Light Hairs Mask mixed with Fox Squirrel, Dark- Dark Hairs Mask

Hackle:Light-Rump feather from Cock Pheasant, Dark-Rump feather from a dark phase Hen Pheasant

Head: aftershaft feather from Pheasant

What is stopping you? The basic premise is simple - no wrap unless you can demonstrate (to yourself) its purpose, and why it is needed 8-)
