Next week i go to a flyfishclub in Haarlem to tell them there why I am so enthusiastic about spiders and wingless wets. I shaal also tell them about the forum.

First of all here are the brushes that I have turned for them.

Image

The brushes are : copper wire, dubbing of 45% tan rabbit, 45% of dark possum and 10% of orange raccoon.

Here is the fly:

hook: Kamasan B175 # 12
Thread: claret Danville's 70 denier

Very nicely done, Ruard, and the resultant fly is a killer October caddis.

AWESOME! :D

Ruard - I am amazed how quick and efficient your process of making dubbing brushes is. This looks like a lot of fun. And you have all those great wire core dubbing brushes to play around too. You can crank out a bunch of flies very quickly.

So cool!

PS - I am subscribed to the "Ruard Channel" too. I'm looking forward to your next tutorial. ;)

Nicely done Ruard and good luck on your presentation.

I am going to try and make up some wire brushes. Talking to my new local fly shop, wire brush bodies are what most people use on their dubbed shrimp patterns. They mostly buy the pre-made EP brushes, but I am sure I can work it out. Your video will be a great help. I have been running with ideas for soft hackle shrimp patterns. :D

Love the video!! I made wire brushes years ago with my cordless drill but I will have to make some with my Dremel tool. 8-)

You look as if you are having fun and the others so intent on what you say.
I would wager everyone had a good time and full understanding of whay you presented.
