I started fishing it on the Saint Vrain Creeks and it did really well when other flies didn't do so good. So I thought for awhile on what to call it and came up with a name. I checked to see if the name was already taken, and I found nothing, so I call this fly, The Saint, after the creeks I have fished it on.
I tied up a few and sent them to my friend in the UK. He said as soon as he can he will get out and try them, though it may be next year before it happens.
Here it is, The Saint.
