What is a good hook to use when tying up some flymphs. Would prefer an upturned eye. Thanks in advance.

None of the vintage models are that easy to find but you can start with Mustad 94842 and 94863 models....

P.m. me your address and I’ll send you enough to get started.

In recent years I’ve been using Daiichi Model 1740 TUE (turned up eye) hooks. The shank is a bit long, but still a very nice hook. The old Mustad TUE hooks are my favorite, but are harder to find these days.

As mentioned, try the Mustad. I found some recently by using this
new designator: R50U-94842.

Theroe thanks for the very kind offer. I have a few 94842 s floating around from
my youth. They’re pretty old now but serviceable still like their owner. Lol. Thank
you though.
