The Hunny Bunny

The Fly pictured is called the Hunny Bunny. This is my very first Soft Hackle/Flymph that I tied and caught multiple fish on this past weekend. The fly is a simple Hare's Ear Nymph that was modified:

Thread: White Danvill 6/0
Tail: Facail Haier from a Hare's Mask
Rib: Small Gold Oval Tinsel
Body: Natural Hare's Ear Dubbing
Thorax: Bulked loose Hare's Ear Dubbing
Hackle: Hunny Dun Hen Cape
A Genuine Wet Fly Fisherman

ohhh, I like this pattern. I might have to tie some of these up myself.

I really like the pattern Andy and the materials compliment each other well. Sounds like it really performed for you the other day. Thanks for posting the picture and sharing your new found interest in the wingless with us.
