Looks fishy as all get out. At first glance I thought it was of of Jim Slattery's Triple Threat Caddis, tied in tan. That dog will hunt for sure.

I love what the mink fibers do in the thorax! They look like legs! You brought this together really well! I think caddis are God's gift to us as tiers and fishers!

No just well twisted around a single thread. There is plenty of the fine fur in my dubbing to get the strands to surround the thread when applied in small quantities. Waxed thread will help if needed.
I expect a minute loss of fur to trim down the outline when fished to a desired profile.
