I responded as usual, "any place there is water". Then I clarified it with "Fishing the Firehole River swinging a Patridge and Orange". I said it is kind of magical wading the river and catching fish in the mist created by hot spots in the river.
Many years ago, there was an FF Rendezvous at Campfire Lodge and many of us fished the Firehole. John Shaner and I took top honors catching fish with our P&Os one day at Biscuit Basin. His with a gold rib and mine with a copper rib.

Tied with silk the color of the bronze hook showing through can make the body appear more brownish. I wanted to try and mimic that with hooks that are not bronze.
