Oooo...good idea Hank. This could be one of the photos on my Christmas cards this year. Much better than my ugly mug.

May I enter this Caddis Pupa Feast?

I like fishing with these type of flies and the ones you and others have posed recently is inspirational.

(UNI-stretch looks interesting...should I brake my promise "no-more-fly-tying-materials-are-allowed-to-be-purchased-untin-2012-unless-it-is-really-REALLY-necessary"?)

These I have taken a few fish this season. Used larva lace (or something similar) and seal fur in dubbing loop winded between the lace. I will develop these a bit further so be a bit more "chunky" i think.

Do not think I have posed them here, if so I apologise. Also the photos are b.N (before Nikon ;) )

WOW! Those are great, Martin. I love the look of the seal fur dubbing. The course texture adds a lot of life to the pattern.

Ray, Martin wonderful flys! I have never used Seal as a dubbing. For that matter, I have never used Uni-Stretch either. I will have to remedy that problem. After the Holidays are over perhaps we can drum up some interest in a Caddis Pupa swap?
