Very nice Hans. The first is bold and vibrant and the translucent hackle showing at the bottom side is really neat, but the bottom fly is neat in its more subtle showing of the red hackle, giving the hint of hey..... her I am..... come get me, rather than the HEY YOU..... COME EAT ME of the top tie.
Really nice form and proportions.

Really nice Hans. The color combination is wonderful.

Another beauty! One of things I like most about your tying is your creativity, and how it gets me thinking outside of the box. I think your Albino Olive Spider, and its cousin, the Albino Olive, are fantastic!

Hans, another cool pair. I like the thick tying thread to get some body in the body. I haven't used 6/0 in a long time because I couldn't get the heads small enough, especially on a size #15. Maybe it's something I should revisit because it looks good here. Nice post.

You absolutely should do that re-visit William. There is hardly ever any need whatsoever (course this is O's&A's lmao), where using anything smaller than 6/0) is nessessary, unless tying on a size #18 hook and smaller.......perhaps size 16 depending on what your after........"tiny heads" and all............trust me.
Technical tying for technical tying's sake is all fine and dandy.......but all it proves is that you can technically tye, and nothing more i.m.(truely)h.o.

Meant as a genuin compliment to you Hans........in that i feel you serve a very vital place in the fly tying world, as you flies exemplify excellance in tying itself. They're so well designed, and executed as to prove that perfection IS possible. And that alone, is a very high achievement AND accomplishment. High standards need to be set, no matter how few will ever assend to that level.......... ;)
