Making Up For Lost Time
So I haven't contributed squat lately....here goes
Ken Sawada Up Eye Olive Hook
The following are coated with clear cure goo...then zapped with a UV light
depending on what material you use....when you hit it with a UV light things can really light up

Outstanding, I've always wanted to see a fly tied on that Sawada hook--it, the Mustad R50, and the Gamakatsu S10U seem the only TUE game in town other than the few made by Gaelic Supreme.

The Grip 14723BL I have been using for a series of flies I have posted here does not count?

Ha, no doubt you deserve a monthly stipend from South Africa! FWIW, I always think of that Grip and the TMC206 as more emerger hooks and not classic "flymph" irons, though of course that's my own idiosyncratic classification system. The Grip 14723BL

First time I bought a pack of those TMC206BLs I didn't know which way to clamp it in the vise!

Many would agree with you
Me, I have found the 14723BL an incredibly versatile hook, straddling with ease a range of styles of fly.
FWIW2 - Sprite indeed have some nice up eye hooks under their own steam, as well as those under the Gaelic Supreme brand. Partridge used to have some also, but likely they have been axed in the years past.

Hey, I'm sure you move a lot of merchandise--hold out for the bling.

Re: Making Up For Lost Time
Great to see your softies again Vern. Love the flies and can't wait to play with the new ideas. Hopefully I can get back to the vice this coming weekend. I haven't tyed a fly in almost two weeks. I'm beginning to have withdrawals. (humor)
