Absolutely wonderful - all exceptional ties, and presented beautifully!

Carl,
Thank you for the beautiful photographs.
Since joining a year ago, the two swaps I've seen here were general (hot spot, & warm water), not for a specific pattern like this.
I definitely prefer this single-pattern swap. I learn more from it.
My over-stuffed, over-dressed fly is very proud and humbled to be in such company.

Carl, these shots really turned out top rate. Thanks so much for all the time to put this together. Beautiful job everyone.

Lance, I agree. There is a lot to be learned from seeing the subtle variations. This was the prefect swap for that purpose. I'd like to see another of this type.

this really is a remarkable set. What a cool group of participants.

I have to confess. I just received a tin of flies from a bother swap on some other board and I was very disappointed in the quality of the flies. BUT this swap looks to be one of the best I've ever participated in. Each fly with a different interpretation of a long famous fly. Yes I believe I like these 'let's recreate' swaps. Well don all and a hardy hip hip to each! I actually plan on fishing these flies. My only wish is that there had been two of each so I could save one from each of you. Marvelous examples.

An outstanding array of tying skills beautifully photographed. Doug's suggestion of a collective frame for the CFFC&M is a good one. I'm planning on making a small-scale version for myself, as this batch of flies is far too spectacular to sit in an envelope or box someplace in the clutter of my "den". And a huge THANK YOU to you, Carl, for initiating and carrying out this most excellent swap.

Old hat, Howdy;

Thanks for hosting the swap. You've done an excellent job.
Great idea with the 'Old pattern rejunivated' theme. For
me it is enjoyable to see how 20 different minds tackled
this project.
It's a pleasure to be lumped in with all the rest.
Thanks for letting me 'play'.

Thanks for hosting, Carl. A virtual tip of the fedora to all fly dressers involved. Looks like a new shadow box will be hanging on the wall for this one.
