Hans, Howdy;

Drop dead gorgeous fly! The photo is almost 3D in appearance... excellent!

Looks to be a good pattern to use as a Damsel Fly nymph imitation.

Very nice variation on a Sparrow. Brahma hens do make for some great soft hackles, one of my favorites ;)

It does remind me of a Gartside Sparrow in appearance. This fly looks like it will be a very good one for fishing. The Sparrow has been a good fly for me. I am going to be tying some up for my Blue River trip this fall. Beautiful fly here Hans~!

Kelly,

Very much based on Jack Gartside's Sparrow - but the shift to the Whiting materials allows for a much broader variety of size and color combo.
