I happen to come across this web site a while back and thought I'd pass it on for those who may not know about it. It's call the
Feather Emporium He has a great sections of all kinds of Hackles, Dry, Soft and many hard to find feathers. I'm in no way associated with his business but have had good experiences ordering from him and he is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions you may have.
Hope this maybe helpful for others.

I have a number of his Coq de Leon rooster saddles. I think I got mine when he was starting out? At a show, they were less than half of what he is asking now. A lifetime of tails on each saddle. He has a good selection of Coq hen as well.

I have dropped a fair chunk of change on Mr. Slattery over the past few years. Very good quality stuff and he is a nice guy to work with.

I use to order from JimsflyCo a while back but their shipping costs have gotten a bit too much for me. They do have an excellent selection of hackle too.

The last small order I made from Jim, I found the shipping rate to be very hard to beat, indeed cheaper than finding the same products here in NZ and paying for national shipping rather than international shipping........ of course I could not find a supplier in NZ, so that did not really factor in! But the shipping from Jim was very attractive.
Maybe if the price is too high, you need to order more to make it an economic package?

Wouldn't we all like to be able to do that.......

I have an issue with the guy at the Feather Emporium. He is using a photo of one of my flies without permission, or credit. Not cool.
If you scroll down and look at the fly to the right of the Barred Plymoth Rock streamer, you can seem my fly. I have never been asked for the use this photo. It makes me wonder what other images on his sight are "borrowed".

and here is my original post of the fly.
