1: Purple & Starling (either with or without a bronze Peacock thorax)
2: Orange & partridge (or Mark Libertones Lil Dorothy)
3: Soft hackled Pogo Nymph.

1. Gotta go with REE - Baillie's Black spider :D :D
2. March Brown Flymph
3. Partridge and Orange
Plus most any with Hare's Ear :D

My top two are:

Partridge and Orange
REE's Madison Cabbage
and I haven't really settled on a third as the above two are the ones I've had the best results with. Everything else is in "the noise".

There were some pictures of the Madison Cabbage on the board but the posters pulled the pictures. It's a sparkley purple dubbing and starling hackle.

This is not exactly the same, as it uses black hen instead of starling, but it's reasonably close. FWIW, this pattern took the largest brown I caught on the Madison last year.
