Yeller Soft Hackles

Post by joaniebo » Thu May 14, 2020 1:11 pm

Tied these yesterday and couldn't decide which pic I liked better, so here's two pics.

Turmeric-dyed, white hen hackles, with a light yellow (primrose colored ?) Danville thread and a pale yellow (primrose color - again) SLF dubbing to make a few "Yeller Soft Hackles."

Will soon tie a few pretty much like these except using turmeric-dyed grey hackles which turned them into some very nice olive shades.

Gorgeous patterns and an elegant display. I like the first photo.

I could DEFINITELY catch fish on those! Not a shred of a doubt.

Very nice!
