You're welcome, David. I have a fairly extensive library as well, thanks to my friend, Donald Nicholson, whose compendium you were linked to by Ray. Donald is really the one who got me started on spiders and other wet flies many years ago. He used to e-mail me with the message, "Buy this book now." It was always a good deal financially, and a logical next step in my wet fly journey. I do miss our conversations.

I picked up several packages of hooks today. I attempted to find some of the Italian silk mentioned in the blog, but it's not to be found here in the States right now. I guess I'll have to struggle with Pearsall's and Kimono silks for now.
