I missed this one due to the power outage. My loss. That a beautiful fly, Ray. I wonder if a silver hook would serve the same purpose as painting the shank white? Hmmm.

Ron - These days, I’d probably use silver Mylar tinsel. It is highly reflective, and will rebound light thru the silk wraps.
