Tom,
Greetings from Oklahoma.
I have said this before and will say it again. I would pay money to watch you tie flies!

Re: Gravel Bed
Wonderful winged wet fly Tom. Davie McPhail recently posted a video on YouTube, showing how tye this pattern. Such a lovely pattern.
I love the hook choice. Sneck bend add an extra classical element.

Tom,
Double Wow! This pattern is so well tied and so good looking! The winging, the hackle, the hook choice......these should be framed and go on your wall! When we look at this pattern, it's like looking back in time! Timeless tying my friend!
Keep up the good work!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Re: Gravel Bed
I haven't seen a Gravel Bed in probably 20 years. Even back then, none were tied this well. Excellent dressing, as always.

Re: Gravel Bed
Man, there are some seriously nice ties floating around here lately. Gorgeous tie!
Re: Gravel Bed
Awesome tie. Mine look this good except for the hackle and wings and body
