I created this fly to use the Peacock Eye that I had trimmed the tips off for my #16 DMS Caddis heads...

I tied about 4 herls in at the hook bend using the spot where I had cut off the tips & twisting them into a rope to form the body. The fly shows the bright Green, then the Gold and a little of the bright Blue of the feather.

nicely done using feathers in a different way other than stripping them
Flytiers sure have a way at making things difficult

I’ve always been drawn to the peacocks eye feathers. The colors are so vibrant and captivating. You have beautifully incorporated them into your pattern.
Very well done Bill.
