After tying my Golden Soft Hackle, I intended to tie some Golden PT nymphs. But earlier today Ken called me about what I had in my Buffalo Starfire Trilobal colors.

I had to tie one with the Golden Pheasant that I had not put away yet. But I had to try the Black Peacock Ice Dub thorax. So here is the GP Soft Hackle version...

Your rendition is excellent, I’m going to have to get pheasant tail simplicity, Yvon Chouinards and Craig Matthew’s book, sounds like a good read with lots of patterns.
