Vicki,
Red Barron! This is a beautiful pattern! Have you given it a soaking even in a glass of water? I am impressed with the sheer (or is it shear?) beauty of your tying. Please keep us posted in the future on your very creative side! Just awesome Vicki!

Vicki,
Do share the results with us Soaker Associates. I am predicting a beautiful reddish "show thru" effect with the tinsel doing all the talking. You may have just tied a classic Vicki!

It reminds me of a summer flower we have here...the Indian Paintbrush.

HMMMM I kinda like that! Beautiful pic Carl!

Here's the pics of the fly wet:

the first one just looks like a big swollen mosquito (aaah mosquito season)

and in the water

and this one, a little fuzzy but it shows the air bubbles trapped in the hackle and body

Vicki, Howdy;

Top pic looks like a ruby shaped like a droplet set in some darkened metal setting......
Like it would have been designed for Dracula's Bride...It has a deeply moving quality to it.

Looks as if ti will be a slayer of trout.

The rest of the pix show it as a not so malevolent decoy for the true foreboding that awaits…

It’s a beautiful fly.

The photo is not mine, just Googled the flower's name. But, yes, it is a nice photo. :D

Great working pics Vicki, very nice to see.
