I had to answer a call of nature :lol: ,
it was originally intended to be a bait hook, but a lot of fly tyers over here in
the UK took a liking to it for wet-flies.

Thanks for the reply Donald. Drennan's of course, I should have remembered from earlier posts. I think it might have been Mike C. in some of his earlier posts that mentioned he also liked the Drennan hook.

Jerry you are right it was Mike C. I like them too especialy for still water because they are somewhat more heavy.
