Don't ask about the recipe - didn't keep track (bad habit)
And no, that's not me in the background.

Re: Ruffian
Nice and buggy! It practically looks like it's moving. Should be a very active & attractive fly.

Re: Ruffian
LOL, no, not the tea guy. It's an old timey fisherman I copied from the net somewhere. Hope I'm not violating some copyright!
I have it hanging on the wall over my tying desk. I guess cuz I can relate to him.

CC, that has got to be productive...and not to be replicated. That's too bad. Cool post.

His name has disappeared in a black hole. I have read his book on recommendation from Donald Nicolson. Annoying. Read it a couple of months ago. If anybody could tell me the name of my wife I would be much obliged...chase creek wrote:LOL, no, not the tea guy. It's an old timey fisherman I copied from the net somewhere. Re: Ruffian
His name is G. Garrow-Green and he is the author of "Trout Fishing in Brooks" c.a. 1920.
He was a retired Army man I think, he certainly looks like a pukka sahib.
It a good little book which I have in my hand now. He knew his trout fishing.
If you want to see it on-line, http://www.archive.org/details/troutfis ... 00garriala
