Re: Dark Sparkler
What an interesting fly! I love the combination of materials and techniques. But for some reason, the fly doesn't resonate with me visually/esthetically. I think it is the sharp contrast between the abdomen and the thorax.

Re: Dark Sparkler
Ray,
I tend to agree. I use two strands of Kristal Flash for the one you commented on and I too felt it the flash overpowered. I have redone the fly, and much prefer the replacement now posted
Thanks for commenting.

Oh yeah, that balances out the fly much nicer. Beautiful.

Help anyone!
For the past few days, my computer will not bring up Hans' photo's. Others, yes.
Does anyone have a suggestion? I need my almost daily Hans fix.

Re: Dark Sparkler
No hacking. The server hosting Flytier's Page was down for some hours on Tue, then came back up. It would appear there is a second dip now. Provider is working on it, and hopefully full life will be restored shortly.
