If you use that name of the streamer in a search engine, it comes up on the first page, using images feature. Still, it is plain to see that is YOUR FLY. He should of asked. In fact, he could offer you some feathers to use your photo. (in my opinion)
Re: Great Hackle Sections
On his site he says he is willing to trade feathers for pictures of flies. I would contact him and see what he offers.

Cool. I didn't see that.

Re: Great Hackle Sections
If it were me, I would be quite chuffed if someone stole one of my lousy photos of one of my lousy flies..... but offering feathers to Ray now is a bit like shutting the gate after the bull has bolted and admitting you got caught out. If he had found the photo, researched and contacted the owner, offered feathers in return for said photo BEFORE placing it on his site, that would have been a much better way of doing business.JohnP wrote:On his site he says he is willing to trade feathers for pictures of flies. In my opinion, it is just another reason to take my trade elsewhere and support others that support the forum- rather than "borrow" from its members....... but that is just me.

You're right, of course, although I think when you post a photo on the Internet, you always run the risk of somebody "finding" it and using it for their own purposes. I just thought if Ray could get some free feathers out of it, it might turn a stinky situation a bit for the better.
P.s.: Luckily for me, my flies aren't good enough for anybody to pilfer their likenesses.
