Finding hare body is a bit of a struggle here. Since I like having a stock pile of natural variations and dyed colors, but don't often need a ton of it, I look through the zonker strip section of the fly shop. I prefer natural and have acquired a nice collection this way. I think most of the hare body available in the US is in this form. I also always keep an eye out for seconds from tanners at various shows and markets. The plus is if I get the itch to hunt the lowly bass I wrap a piece around the hook add a weight and I'm set to go.

Full body from different seasons , particularily an old jack would be the way to go, but I have found it very difficult to buy as such.
Steve in cookshill will usually give form different areas when requested.
