Hi Mark.....thankx for the info bout Mike Kidd. Maryland is a duck hunting Mecca. Kevin Compton is the importer distributer for those hooks from Poland.....the ones that have that little tiny upturn right at the tip of the points.....i don't think we're talkin' Grip hooks in this case. Those hooks Kevin has (he gave my wife some and then she bought more), are incredable.....they're "holding power" because of that little upturn is amazing.....that tiny little upturn is ingenious. ;) i wonder how they get a machine to do that..... :?:

Hi Mark,
Kevin sent me some Grip hooks as samples to try. This was a while back. Maybe he is not doing them anymore.

Hi Mark, well i guess then obviously he was at one time. Didn't know that. It's not an easy thing to do trying to keep all the "Hooks Guys" straight.....they're always 10 steps ahead of us.....who pay their bills. :D Tryin' to keep track of them and find them when you need them.....jeeze..........the Mustad guy, the Daiichi guy.....the this guy and that guy..........jeeze. i like dealing with Mark Hamnett at Partridge a lot.....he's always done me right. Not that any of them have ever done me anything but right.....it's just sometimes difficult to run them down.....i should bitch though.....bein' a bit of a rollin' stone myelf. :P :D
