Nice set of flies!
The only wire dubbing brushes I have made for some nymphs are about 3 feet long and twisted with a cup hook in my portable variable speed drill.

prefer to use several smaller critters ?????

3' is not a typo
, I just use a sticky dubbing wax on one side of the wire and touchdub the entire length then fold the other wire next to it,clamp the tag ends down together and turn on my drill.

My furled leaders are all made the old fasioned way by hand and gravity. Might make a fuzzy one for ice fishing.

I have more than a lifetime supply of critter dubbing to work with. I usually blend in some dyed rabbit that I collected out of my wife's pet rabbit cage with a dustbuster when I cleaned his cage for over ten years.

This whole thing is really great. Thanks so much. The photo set up is a great start for something I would like to work on myself. But those flies....hats off to you.
