Hare's Ear and Partridge 1150

Post by William Anderson » Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:02 pm

I had the good fortune of catching a mild, drizzly day in central PA last weekend. The Grannoms were coming off and Hendrickson hatches had been on for a couple days. These little Hare's Ear and Partridge flies cover a lot. I took a few good wild browns on a dead drift up and across, but I took several on a down and across swing. Perfect day out.

Good on you, William, for getting out and finding fish. I can certainly see why this pattern was successful ... it rocks.
