Another classic wet fly in the Bergman tradition ...

Hook: Mustad 3906B, Size #6 - #12
Thread: Underbody ~ white 6/0, finish ~ black 6/0
Tail: Married mallard slips, red over white
Tip: One wrap small black chenille
Body hackle: Claret hen saddle, one side stripped
Rib: Narrow flat mylar gold tinsel
Body: Yellow wool (or dubbing)
Wing: Married mallard slips, white over narrow red over white
Cheek (optional): Jungle cock nails
