Carl,
I can't resist the Darkside.
The author of the article about Egan watched him pull over 60 fish out of his assigned beat on the Crooked in 3 hours when he was qualifying for the US Flyfishing Team.
That weakened my will and I have to try some of his creations.

I will fish off both variations of the Rainbow Warrior and Lightning Bug on the Crooked this year.

Carl, I think that thing by the eye of the hook is a B E A D. I've read about them..
