8-) ;) I usually have a display at Expos showing 3 methods of using oversized feathers to tie soft hackles. I think I have a lifetime supply of IWD from one big bag I bought years ago. :)

Great post, it gets even more involved when you have multiple hatches at the same time. Like mixed mayflies and caddis and trout are taking all over the place and at different depths. ;) 8-)

Back in '92, I built myself a 6'6" Lamiglas 4 Wt. for those brushy little creeks in Eastern Oregon. Didn't need much distance, but relied on a bow and arrow cast most of the time. ;)
